After 16 treatments his condition improved enough for him to read a full page from his textbook without having to take a rest. |

This poor chap was having more than one half of his stomach removed due to perforated ulcers. He was so frail he opted for acupuncture anesthesia rather than a general so there would be less post-surgical complications. He remained awake throughout the procedure and would respond to the surgeon's questions. His bowels normalized quickly and his recovery went smoothly do in part by the marked increase in his white blood cell count resulting from the rather strong application of electro-acupuncture. That's me massaging his Yintang acupoint to help him remain centered and calm during the procedure. |
